Once all that had been said they all sat in quiet compilation for a few minutes until Dylan cleared his throat and asked. “So.. Telfs. Did you figure out the three things you needed to do to finish your project? For all the news of no one starving, I didn’t hear anything about the wounded that were battling the floods or the ones who were robbed.”

All of his wives that had been helping Telfs groaned at hearing him say that. It seems her adopted son had mastered his parents' teachings and was following in their footsteps. One didn’t learn if one didn’t solve the problem. Having it handed to you only proved it could be done, not how it was done. After listening, Dylan agreed that they had some interesting ideas, but they didn’t have the three that were needed to solve Telfs current project problem. To which they all sighed and moaned but nodded, they would continue to search for the three correct ways to solve this. Catherine his most fearless wife asked for a hint to which Dylan shrugged then said “Timberwolf” figuring they would understand that they needed to imbue the bandages with magic to allow non-mages the use and the wolf belts adhering ends to target the magic to work. At giving that hint he stood up and opened a portal to the silverthorne forest to save his aunt from having to first return to the academy then open her own portal to her home forest as she couldn’t portal through his guardians wards.

His aunt hugged and thanked him for the help, saying she had to go because she had a lot to do to get her people ready to move here. She agreed she would send him a message when ready to start the move as she walked into the portal he had opened for her, he sighed as he closed it behind her wishing the world wasn’t in such a mess. As he turned to head to the main floor thinking he would put in some training time he was stopped by his wives who one by one gave him hugs then surrounded him as they all said it was time for bed. It was late in the night by the time he had satisfied all of his wives and had just snuggled up with Lilly in his arms when he felt three wards go in effect defending his home. He mentally checked the source, but whatever had triggered it had dealt with them and the canyon guardian reported no one within the canyon. Dylan relaxed and figured he would search for the cause of those wards triggering later.

Unfortunately, that later became much later as he was having to deal with the sudden influx of his aunt's refugees from the increase of more flood waters. Dylan and his wives worked to ensure everyone found living space in the Silverthorne canyon forest. Dylan had to build two other living structures and a military fort at the entrance to the new forest to handle them all.
